March 29, 1998

This has been the worst 2 days of my life. My human had boxes stacked everywhere and then these people, who I remember having been over a couple times before, came over. My human then picked me up and trapped me in her friend's room, but all of her things were missing. I was alone in an empty room. I cried and tried pawing at the door but they wouldn't let me out. I even tried reaching under the door to get their attention but it didn't work.
I was trapped in that room the whole day. My human didn't come back into the room until it was dark. She grabbed me and she pushed me into that purple cage. Then I was trapped in that cage for hours and hours as we rode in the car. I was brought to a strange new place and set on the floor.
I could see through the bars that my human was making up my litterbox. I was glad because I was so scared that I had to go, but I didn't want to go in the cage.
My human then brought me into another room. She had put my box in that room. She opened my cage to let me out, but I was just too scared to leave my cage. I wanted to know where I was, and what was going on. This new place has the same furniture as the other place, but there were some new smells, and the floor isn't fuzzy and soft, it is smooth and hard.
My human also put on the collar, that has those metal tags that make a lot of noise when I move, around my neck. I really hate wearing that collar, it itches.
I was so scared, and mad I sat in the window and meowed all night long.
The next morning my human got up, and left me alone. I was all alone in this strange new place. How could she do this to me? She didn't even put my food dish on the floor! But I found a great place to hide, I felt so safe and happy there. Under her bed was a great place. There was a hole in the fabric and I was able to climb up. I hung inside the bed for most of the day. I heard someone walking around, and there were other scary noises but I couldn't bring myself to go check them out. I didn't care what made the noises, I just wanted to hide.
Then my human came home and she finally found my hiding place, but I wouldn't come out. I heard her talking about me to someone on the phone. I came out of the hiding place because it began to feel kind of cramped. Then my human crawled under the bed and saw me, she rubbed my head and taped up my entrance to the hiding place.
It wasn't until just now that I started to really explore this new place. It is so weird, new smells and old smells all in one place. I'm not sure if I like it or not, but I'll keep you posted.
